@JoeCoffeeApp I ordered a blueberry muffin and, after leaving the store, discovered it's a chocolate muffin that I don't want. I'd like a voucher for a future blueberry muffin, since I can't return to the store.
2. I would have personally preferred quarter millennial, but it was felt to be less "correct" as an anniversary phrase. Plus, considering 1,000 years of the American Republic is a great aspiration, but not well precedented in history.
The "250th" is definitely the best phrase.
We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community.
The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.
Don’t give up the ship.
4. Or, Nixon might have considered Black Power activists leftists. But in the Black community, were they the leftists? Or was MLK on the left and Malcolm in the right?
This kind of analysis could be a lens through which to discuss Andor and other art, a level deeper than genre.
2. I understand you were making a broader point about what kinds of movies / TV shows are left or right wing genre, but I do think more analysis is needed. The story trumps the genre, and it's worth looking at the political forces and point of view.
Who else is just waiting around for our Podcast Rabbi @ezraklein to drop his next episode, so we know what to make of the new political era we find ourselves confronting?
He's clearly taking the extra day to get it right!
(I popped in from Blue Sky just to share this.)

Dear @AskLyft@lyft, I had to cancel a ride because my wife needed a different car type for her injured leg. I clicked "driver could not accommodate me" but it was not his fault. It was mine.
How can I give positive feedback so that his digital history is accurate and positive?
Excited to reflect on two @ezraklein podcasts on Sabbath, Rest, and Burn-Out for an @SAJforALL tish before Nadiv's B*Mitzvah 5/11 at 9am ET, accessible by Zoom. Shabbat Shalom! https://t.co/ymNRAcR6Mv

Hi @jonfavs. I've been mulling your notes on @PodSaveAmerica about immigration. Everything you said sounds reasonable. Yet, "the system is broken" message seems to emphasize the conservative frame. I'd be interested to DM on this to briefly talk further. Thx.
He really followed “I am totally opposed to anti-semitism” with “and that’s why powerful Jews should stop using their media influence to try to destroy me”
That slow roll of candidates raising their hands (while maybe looking at their neighbors) to supporting Trump even if convicted….is so far the memorable moment
The doom and gloom in our camp are unjustified, even if understandable in light of the anxiety over the crisis.
No dramatic change, that our country badly needs will come, or has ever come, without a crisis.
I am actually full of hope because the worst government in Israel's history has managed to awaken liberals who, for many years, have enjoyed their siesta and waited for the exit of their start-up company.
We were in complete denial of the fact that we have abdicated the governance of our country to the jewish supremacy of the messianic settlers, the mysojenic and hatred of LGBTQ, and the corrupt Likudniks who manipulate the ethnic divides in our society
The situation in which all the political energy was generated by the anti-liberal camp is over.
We understood that our denial has actually been an attempt to enjoy the Jacuzzi on the Titanic.
In front of our eyes a paradigm shift is occurring. This shift is an indication that the majority and the power is with us. There is also a significant positive change when more Jews from around the world are starting to understand that support of Israel does not mean support of the Israeli government or the Israeli propaganda, but rather is taking a stand in the fight for a liberal democracy.
Now that the masks have been removed, more liberal countries are beginning to realize that providing diplomatic support to Israel's government, while it deepens and expands the occupation, should stop.
In addition, liberal Israelis are starting to be more attentive to voices from the free world, who are their true allies, not the authoritarian populists who are Bibi's allies.
This crisis may end with a shift that brings a constitutional structure that protects minorities and creates a separation between religion and state, as well as physical borders which are critically needed to save us from a binational catastrophe.
The despair on our side does not serve our struggle but rather serves the government.
