My former colleagues from KAIST MAC lab have released an AI-based background music generator! This model takes text, image, and audio as input conditions and (as far as I know) combines curated music stems to generate new music. You can test it freely on the web

Craft copyright-free music uniquely tailored to your preferences using prompts, scene imagery, or reference music. (And, this is free during the BETA period)
@csteinmetz1 With this technological approach, we could make music generation API which is really fast in generation time, and 100% copyright cleared model. This engine can further be used as an adaptive streaming engine (e.g. for car), and also style changer of artist's music in real-time.
@csteinmetz1 Sure. We have a bunch of samples as a company asset. And, the basic tech concept is to assemble these music samples upon the user's prompt, image, and audio. So, we analyze those user inputs through embedding, tagging, captioning, etc, and find and mix appropriate samples.
couldn't agree more..!๐Artist-fan relationship can be multi-dimensional. The power of creation can be shared to each other. It doesn't have to be zero-sum game in web3 music. and that's the way it should be too :)
