Former Israeli army chief and opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of fabricating claims that Iran possesses nuclear weapons in order to frighten the Israeli public.
According to Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth, Eisenkot made the remarks at a conference in central Israel, saying Netanyahu’s recent statements on Iran’s nuclear capabilities were false.

At least 50 people have died in immigration detention since Trump returned to office, the deadliest period in ICE’s history. Yet Congress continues to give immigration enforcement agencies billions of dollars without requiring reform.

Jon Ossoff doesn’t just talk about protecting children — he delivered. He authored landmark anti-child trafficking legislation that was passed by Congress and signed into law.
This powerful new ad is a reminder of what real leadership looks like.
During Israel’s genocide and ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical personnel have reportedly been abducted from hospitals, clinics, and emergency medical teams while performing their duties.
Here are some of their names. Let us remember them, speak their names, and continue demanding their freedom.
Their release, along with that of all Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons, must remain an urgent call for justice and accountability until every one of them is free.
The magnitude of Trump's personal corruption and the monetizing of the presidency by him and his family have no precedent in US history.
It takes a total peasant mentality, or some weird cultish devotion, to defend or excuse this, especially if you objected to corrupt Biden transactions (as I did). It's on a completely different scale.
Trump set up a crypto company (World Liberty Financial) 4 days before his inauguration, then had the UAE pour hundreds of millions into his pockets for 49% of it, then gave rewards to the UAE. Jared getting $2 billion from the Saudis. On and on and on.
Six conservatives on the Supreme Court argue that doing these kinds of favors for gratuities is perfectly fine, and that it is unconstitutional to prohibit any rules limiting it.
Whether Israelis will ever comprehend the irreparable damage inflicted upon their country’s reputation by their UN Ambassador, Danny Danon, is a moot point. The damage Israel has done to itself through its barbaric practices in occupied Palestine is simply impossible to overcome.

$1000 that could've gone toward retirement.
$1000 that could've gone into your savings.
$1000 that could've gone toward groceries.
$1000 that could've gone toward a house payment.
$1000 that instead paid for Trump's illegal war with Iran.
As 1,000 days have passed since the start of Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, Palestinians continue to endure one of the worst humanitarian crises in the territory’s history, with mass displacement, widespread destruction, and severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies amid the ongoing Israeli attack.
These propagandists keep trying to hide that this is a Qatari plane, a bribe.
Don't ignore that Trump is flying around in a symbol of the ways he has sold out the United States.
In 18 months Trump has made more than all U.S Presidents combined.
He's made more than he did his first 78 years. (Despite starting with $400 million)
In 12 years he's done NOTHING to better Maga lives, only his, & yet the Morons celebrate.
From @WSJopinion: Foreigners are being led to believe they can buy American goodwill or favors if they cut the Trumps in on the action. Americans deserve better from this or any President.

When I was Ethics Czar, we decided Obama wouldn't even refinance his house to save a few hundred dollars -- & lobbyists couldn't gift us a PENCIL!
Trump is monetizing the presidency for BILLIONS
The American people won't stand for it

Once in a generation, the universe gives us a comet. The whole world stops to look up at it, to marvel, and to be inspired.
The U.S. is living in a bigger than ever comet moment right now.
This summer marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and the World Cup has brought the planet to our doorstep.
People from every continent are walking our streets, standing in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty, hearing the key ideas from the Declaration of Independence.
All people are created equal. Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The powers of government are derived from the consent of the governed, not from kings or any other form of autocratic government.
Those words changed the world.
In the 250 years since, more than a hundred countries have written their own Declaration of Independence, echoing ours. We handed the world a template for freedom. And that template is with us today on this 250th anniversary.
People want to come to the United States because they believe in those words.
They believe in an American ideal that has never been completely realized, and yet it’s something we’ve always marched toward until now.
Today’s U.S. government is trying to reverse that march.
Instead of promoting the American ideal, it ravages the White House, stages cage fights on its own lawn, gives us tanks rolling down Constitution Avenue, and then uses taxpayer money to gild the people’s house in gold, pollute the reflecting pool, and remake the capital city to reflect the president’s personal whims.
But our Declaration of Independence is as relevant today as it was 250 years ago. Let’s not forget that.
What the government fails to do, we can do.
We the people.
You can do. We can spread the word.
Every chance you get, talk about the Declaration of Independence.
Tell those World Cup fans. Tell your neighbors. Tell everybody you see or network with that we today are experiencing an incredible moment in history, a larger than ever comet moment.
Like the men and women who have fought to defend our rights for two and a half centuries, today we, you and I, are called on to defend the rights so eloquently expressed in the Declaration of Independence.
Let’s get out there and do our jobs, and let’s enjoy doing it.
Feel the pleasure. Feel the honor.
Feel how blessed you are to be alive at this time and part of the making of history.
