YOU'RE TELLING ME THERE WAS A FIFTY-TWO POINT SWING??!?
The goal is to eventually launch up to 10,000 Starships per year, about one every hour. And to carry more useful load to space per ship than has ever been done before, both by weight and especially by volume. And to reuse the rockets hundreds of times each. And to get humanity back to the Moon and ultimately to Mars.
Are you saying that relative to those goals, you think launching 12 test rockets over 2 years is too much? Or that you would have accomplished those goals with fewer test launches if you were running the program?
When you say "stupid test program," what makes it stupid in your view? I wouldn't describe it as stupid and wouldn't say any of the rockets were "thrown away" - they've iterated quickly, making dramatic improvements on each subsequent launch, and gained tons of valuable data and new information with each launch in pursuit of the above goals.
Do you actually know and care about rockets and think that their approach is bad? Or do you just dislike @elonmusk's politics and therefore spend your time online trashing anything associated with him?
Today was my first workout at the gym since being diagnosed with cancer in January 😎. I did 1 set on each machine at about 1/2 the weight I was doing pre-diagnoses. Baby steps 💛🙏🏻
