I'm a professor of learning design and technology at the University of Colorado Denver. :-) I use she~her~hers pronouns, thank you. For fun, see @Vis_Challenge.
Let's be clear. If Trump is too dangerous to send out a tweet or a Facebook post, he's too dangerous to be commander-in-chief. Donald Trump must be removed from office immediately and held accountable for his horrific acts of sedition, violence and chaos.
I cannot believe the posts I am seeing in various social networks right now. To anyone defending or excusing the actions of these terrorists -- for shame FOR SHAME, you are supporting American traitors.
I posted this in July. But I am interested in your life-changing (well, at least huge-impact) books that you still reference after all these years. I, btw, would add "The Worm at the Core" to this stack here (plus some others; I need a new stack).
@christy_ridd One thing I've found helpful is to pick a Tweet Chat group that meets w/regularity and follow their hashtag...see if the contributions are relevant and of value. You can also see who is contributing and that helps you determine if following them is helpful to you. #INTE5250Fall20
@christy_ridd I so agree that we need to help students learn about digital citizenship and learn to manage their digital identity and presence. #INTE5250Fall20
A4: In my experience people are concerned about security, safety, and privacy. They also worry about tracking accounts. For me I find it is easy for me to go down rabbit holes if I am not focused and goal driven. #INTE5250Fall20
A3: I think especially in our domain that collaboration is critical. Our domain is so ever-changing that we need to support each other in advancing ideas. I think collaboration via social networking is the key to lifelong professional learning at this point. #INTE5250Fall20
@christy_ridd A1: I can understand that feeling. I'm having trouble adopting Slack, likely in a similar way to instructors apprehensive to use Twitter.

@christy_ridd A1: I think it can help learners further process as they interact with others via a classroom activity -- sharing ideas, perspectives, information.
