Global food prices have surged 65% since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. UK food inflation up 14.5% this year, and people on benefits and in low pay have had no payrises. So millions are hungry. Some will starve. And our politicians are silent, more interested in ‘markets’.
TikTok is where I fear Twitter might go if Musk takes over. Freedom of speech for fascists and demagogues, but censorship for those who challenge power.

@guardian Many children are affected by having parents in the limelight, not just politicians - just look at the Royals. Many many more are affected by childhood poverty and poor schooling, lack of resources. Poor social media controls. Let’s get it right for all our children.
