After so much experimentation and playing around with variables in @figma, thanks to @dotdude, I think I finally found the most *efficient and easy* way to migrate existing component libraries from styles to variables. 🎛️⚡
I think I've pushed @figma's new Variables and Advanced prototyping to its limit...
I present a fully working version of Flappy Bird!! 🔥
Featuring:
- Scoring + highscores
- Pseudo-randomised pipe placement
- Physics based movement
- Uses 46 variables

I've participated in too many conversations about the role of design / pm / eng to count.
Of course there are differences.
But every tech manager role, regardless of discipline, ends up converging at higher levels.
What does this mean for you as a manager?

Suggestion: Aside from keeping all options enabled or providing help text, include a comments text field for each submission so that users can clarify that the option they selected is perhaps not exactly what matches their situation.
@Grubhub I wanted help since my side (Greek Salad) wasn't included in my order. Why is an option disabled without an explanation? Why am I forced to make only 1 choice which would be false to my situation & now I'm conflicted if I should proceed to ask for help? #uxdesign ️
Suggestion: if a user replies to your final message and uses certain keywords like 'help', direct them to where they can receive customer support to resolve their issue.
I'm actually just more irked by the UX i had to go thru and the missing Greek Salad is not a big deal. 2/2
@Grubhub you have an automated survey to collect customer feedback, but dont have a step in your logic tree to follow up about the problem with the order? Not only is this a lack of empathy, but a real loss to the #cx & retention of biz 💰. #uxdesign#productmanagement 1/2
