It's been a funny week. At work I've learnt genuinely useful MHFA skills, turned accuracy checking into modern art and been weirdly excited by Excel spreadsheets. All rounded off by pondering what Adele would sound like if she was from Yorkshire.

@4barsrest Making music should be the priority not contesting. Unfortunately the opposite attitude is what stops many people joining bands as they feel too much pressure when it comes to contests rather than just playing for enjoyment.

@pharmaelizabeth You're not alone! As a pre-reg at a smaller hospital I know how you feel and I've had days like those as well. I've tried 'little goals' like if I've learnt something I didn’t know that day (even if it's tiny) then that's a good day for me. Hope it gets better!
