Here are some questions we can ask:
1) Why is the commissioner still in a job?
2) Why don’t you get some professional PR people who have the vaguest notion how to sound human?
This seems unnecessary to me …
… and it would have been nice if @NicolaSturgeon had contacted us beforehand to discuss it.
Maybe the Scottish Government should try living by the same standards it frequently accuses the UK Government of lacking?
#DoubleStandards
"Can't wait to get you to the Gabba"
"Can't wait to get you to India, it will be your last series"
Tim Paine had plenty to say to Ravi Ashwin behind the sticks, but the Indian batsman wasn't fazed 👊
He even watched the Aussie keeper shell one the next over 👀
Transparency, worst case scenarios, & why govt is treading a dangerous path over #COVID19.

Please do read and share if it strikes a chord.
This stuff affects all of us.
Deep breath... 🧵
You’ll probably see this chart a lot today. It’s the one @uksciencechief just showed at the @10DowningStreet briefing today. It’s v v scary & implies if the current growth rate of #COVID19 continues we'll face 49k cases a day by mid October. So. Is this really plausible...?

So my TL is full of Liverpool this morning, naturally. I am reading what an amazing achievement their title is, and to be fair I think beating Man City probably is amazing. But I find the response fascinating, and in particular I find Big Club (TM) fans fascinating.
The question mark over Keir Starmer is not competence but whether he can do politics. He has just:
1) Shown he means business on antisemitism
2) Made Boris look indecisive
3) Offloaded a Corbynite
4) Helped the hard left Twittersphere reveal itself as ridiculous
Good day’s work
