Happy to share I have been offered to become a research assistant for the AHRC-funded project 'We're in this together: The voice of boys' led by @DrSophieKH. This project will research masculinity and sexual harassment with young people.
Hoped on the trend, doing the @Great_Run half marathon has been a blast! And had the best support whilst doing it. Defo hard but had so much fun running! Now im thinking whats next 👀 🤣

My final day at Midlothian Council as the Community Justice Manager. What a fantastic experience this has been working with the most wonderful colleagues and partners! Excited to start the new chapter as Service Lead at Thriving Survivors, a charity close to my heart.
A massive thank you to everyone who has been involved in this event. It was really insightful and great to meet so many new people. It is amazing to have talked about the importance of youth voice, particularly about mental health. #ESRCfestival
"We must be aware of the harm caused by exaggerated masculine traits but language like “toxic masculinity” can be unhelpful. We should focus on promoting the benefits of positive expressions of manhood, such as emotional openness and empathy."

Yesterday, the YAG @IMH_UoB and the @McPinYPNetwork celebrated the work of creating three new resources in centring young people in mental health research! Being part of the YAG has been very exciting and rewarding! Have a look!
Very excited to share our THREE new resources with you all as part of our partnership with @IMH_UoB: Centring young people in #MentalHealthResearch!

With my experience as a youth advisor at the @IMH_UoB, and fundraising for awareness against men's suicide, I have learned much about mental health, and encourage everyone to reach out. Friend, parent, counsellor, anyone. #WorldMentalHealthDay is every day.
At the @EUni_Well Student Workshop in Cologne last week. Amazing time to meet all the student representatives with loads of productive conversations on student well-being.
Had the pleasure of speaking about Queering Masculinities at @DrSophieKH 's Conference yesterday! In a world where young men are surrounded by a homophobic environment, queer theory can be used as a window into changing and reinventing modern masculinity as we know it.
