Why are those arriving from Gaza exempt from the usual eligibility checks on foreign nationals to access benefits?

I've asked the DWP.

The source tells me...

"DWP staff have been instructed to not query any aspect of a claim for benefits if the applicant has put Gaza down as their country of origin."

Nobody arriving from Gaza, or any foreign national, should be able to claim Universal Credit.

I will do everything in my power to get to the bottom of this...
