So the @netflix Greta Gerwig Narnia has literally created a deception. A lie. They have embodied #Tashlan from the final book, The Last Battle. Their false aslan is a chimera. He/she/it is anything you want your god to be. Gender-fluid. Pan-species, even reptilian, adorned in the scales of a serpent. It is a fraud.
In case there's ANY confusion, CS Lewis literally intended Aslan to be the incarnation of Christ inside the world of Narnia.
When Lucy and Edmund learn they cannot return to Narnia again, Aslan comforts them by saying they'll know him again in their own world: "There I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name".
Aslan is more than an allegory for Christ, he *is* how the creatures of Narnia experience Christ in their world just as we experience Jesus Christ as an incarnate MAN in ours.
To cast Meryl Streep as Aslan in Greta Gerwig's Narnia is a slap in the face to the genius of Lewis, but also a deliberate mockery of Christianity that is 100% intentional. So deeply disappointing.
Makes me wonder what else they'll mock about this Christian story...
🔥🚨LATEST: Hollywood actress Eliot Page uploaded this footage of her showing off her incredible physique while throwing hands with her boxing coach. Page says she is hooked on boxing.
I may be in the minority, but I really think 'I am the one I have been waiting for' ('the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me', i.e., I am the way and the world needs conform to me) is a cancerous message for young people, especially when it's the only message, and it's been Disney's main (only?) 'lesson' for far too long.
Please notice that us Knicks fans ARE trashing Victor Wembanyama
However, also notice that we are NOT doing the same to the other player that torched the Knicks all series, Dylan Harper.
Not hard to figure out why.
#Knicks#NBAFinals
Among every championship team in NBA history, the 2025-26 Knicks are 1st in average playoff point differential, 9th in playoff winning percentage and 31st in opponents' regular-season winning percentage.
Take the average of every title team's ranks in those categories, and sprinkle in some credit for the total number of series each team won in the playoffs, and this Knicks team comes in at 5th overall.
Only the 2001 Lakers, 1996 Bulls, 2017 Warriors and 1950 Lakers come out better by that formula.
I'm not a Spurs or Knicks fan, but I can't remember seeing officiating this biased in a playoff series. One team appears to be getting favorable treatment, and Wemby has seemingly avoided two obvious flagrant calls. The refs are undermining the integrity of the game.
Crazy... idk if you know this... this might be a new revelation to you,
But your feet typically follow the momentum of your shot. He didnt kick his feet out, they followed the natural moment of his shot.
Twitter really is the dumbest place.
No, this should not have been a flagrant or even a regular foul on Spurs C Victor Wembanyama.
Kicks PG Jalen Brunson clearly kicks his left leg out. He put himself in a position to get hurt.
This is on Brunson, not Wemby.
