Men don't like being told they're wrong either - it is a human thing, not specific to any gender. It depends on HOW people tell me I'm wrong - if it is through a conversation that stays intellectual and doesn't deteriorate into personal insults, I'm good with it. Where was the international community in 1979 when the Iranian population - maybe the parents and grandparents of these young men - called for the return of Khomeini and Death to America, stormed our embassy and killed our Marines, kidnapped and tortured our embassy personnel? Looks to me like the entire UK has fallen to jihadists - they rape, murder, and rob homes and businesses at will in broad daylight and have occupied the seat of London mayor for almost a decade. The king kisses their arses and honors islam over his own people's religion. France's government has been for sale for centuries - nothing has changed there. I am not a fan of hers at all, barely think of her as human really, but she was right to do this - he shirked his duty, should have been there in person at that Food Fest, a long-time local event. Then when he got angry and lost his temper with the reporter who asked him about the lack of police protection at the event, we all knew he was done. She had no choice. He would have decked that reporter if the other guy hadn't gotten in front of him and taken him away. She was savvy enough to replace him with another Black man but they aren't going to let this go - she is in for a baptism of fire.

What concessions? Don't they already have all Alaskan residents in the data base for the Alaska Permanent Fund? All residents are paid annually from this oil and mineral fund - anywhere from $1k to over $3k. These payouts are done through Alaska Dept of Natural Resources - the state already has a data base of their entire population - which Alaskan is going to not register for this annual payout? Even in Alaska, $1k can buy a lot of groceries. I think the senators are playing people for fools- they consider everyone in the lower 48 to be ignorant.

Please do some homework before forming your opinions on pivotal political issues. It is so easy these days - the world of knowledge is literally at our fingertips. Alaska is the last place where it would be difficult for any adult resident to get an ID for voting or anything else. Murkowski knows this very well, is betting that most of here in the lower 48 don't know it - they have Alaska Permanent Fund which pays a rebate to every single Alaskan every year - the state already has a data base of their population and their addresses as well as long they've lived in Alaska. You seriously think anyone living in that state doesn't keep their info updated? Sometimes they "only" get $1k a year but it has been over $3k as well. That $1k can buy a lot of groceries even in high-priced Alaska.
