On behalf of myself and the good people of Lagos Island Constituency I, I warmly felicitate with my dear egbon Barr. Seyi Tinubu @STinubu on the joyous occasion of his birthday.
Your journey continues to reflect the values of vision, dedication, service, and a strong commitment to the advancement of our nation. As a young Nigerian whose passion for social impact and youth development remains commendable, your support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, continues to inspire hope and encourage greater participation among young people in the task of nation-building.
I particularly celebrate your contributions to youth empowerment, humanitarian initiatives, and community development. Your commitment to creating opportunities for the younger generation and contributing to the progress of our dear country is worthy of commendation. These efforts reflect the enduring values of responsibility, hard work, and service associated with the family name.
As you celebrate another year, I pray that Almighty God grants you sound health, wisdom, strength, and abundant grace to accomplish even greater milestones.
Happy Birthday Okanlomo S.T.
Mọ́yọ̀ fún ẹ, Mọ́yọ̀ fún rá mi.
On this special occasion of Teachers’ Day, I join millions around the world in celebrating the remarkable men and women who have dedicated themselves to one of humanity’s noblest callings.
Teachers are more than educators; they are mentors, role models, nation builders, and custodians of the future. Through their knowledge, patience, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment, they shape young minds, inspire confidence, nurture talents, and equip generations with the values and skills needed to build a better society.
As someone who has personally experienced the impact of good teachers, I understand that their influence often extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. Many of the dreams we dare to pursue today were strengthened by a teacher who believed in us, encouraged us when we doubted ourselves, and challenged us to become better than we thought possible.
To every teacher who continues to teach with passion despite the challenges, who patiently guides the next generation, and who finds fulfilment in seeing others succeed, I celebrate and appreciate you.
Happy Teachers’ Day to all our exceptional teachers in Lagos Island and beyond. Thank you for inspiring minds, building character, and shaping the future.
CONGRATULATORY LETTER TO MY DEAR FATHER!
I write this with a heart filled with immense joy, gratitude and pride as I celebrate you on your installation as Baba Adinni of Yorubaland.
Baba, this is a truly special moment for me because I am not just celebrating an illustrious leader being honoured; I am celebrating a man whose life, principles, wisdom and dedication have continued to inspire me and so many others.
As you take on this noble responsibility as Baba Adinni of Yorubaland, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you the wisdom, strength, good health and patience required to serve the Ummah and the entire Yoruba community with distinction.
May Allah continue to preserve you, increase you in good health, and make this new chapter of your life a source of greater fulfilment.
Congratulations Baba mi.

I was there, and you could see the difference.. the smiles, excitement and relief on the faces of parents and children.

Watch how Hon. Lara Oyekan-Olumegbon’s Renewed Hope Back-to-School initiative is scaling up on the Island. They hit 5,000 students last year—and now they’ve doubled the target to 10,000 children across Lagos Island Constituency 1.
This is what intentional representation looks like.

@honlaraoyekan is truly doing the work.
"As lawmakers, our responsibility includes advocating policies that protect the people, strengthen the systems that hold offenders accountable, and support initiatives that promote prevention, awareness, and access to justice.” - Hon. Thank you for the vote of confidence, Jonathan. 🙏💜
The promise remains the same: total dedication and even more impactful representation for our people.
Einstein said it's insanity to do something over and over again and expect a different result.
Honourable Omolara Oyekan-Olumegbon for house of assembly over and over again.
Only one outcome expected.
Perfection.

To my dear people of Lagos Island Constituency 1,
Today, I found myself overwhelmed with emotions, and honestly, words are not enough to express how grateful I am to you.
Seeing you come out in such large numbers to support me during the primary election touched me deeply. I saw pregnant women. I saw our mothers and elderly women. I saw people who made sacrifices just to be there. I still cannot forget seeing a woman who came out with her three-day-old baby simply because she wanted to stand with me and make her voice count.
How do I repay a love like this?
Today, I knelt down because I wanted you to know that I do not take your love, support, solidarity and trust for granted. You stood by me, you believed in me, and you showed me that I am not alone.
This outreach is my little way of saying THANK YOU to every single person who came out for me, prayed for me, encouraged me and stood firmly by me.
To Lagos Island Constituency 1, thank you for making me feel so loved. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for standing with me.
I may not be able to mention everyone by name, but please know that I saw you, I felt your love, and I will never forget it.
My heart is full. ❤️
Thank you, Lagos Island Constituency 1.
Thank you for standing with me.
Thank you for believing in me.
May God bless every one of you and your families abundantly. 🙏🏽❤️
@honlaraoyekan@Mutiuare@ISLANDTALKS_@Gbenusi_Ekotv1 Words cannot even describe what you are.
I genuinely do not think Lagos has ever witnessed something like you madam.
What level of humility..
We love you ma'am.
God bless you ma.
