Jontomato

silly song tweeter, has a lot of design thoughts, please ignore.

TFW you made a whole lil version of your city

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@LukeW Do this post but everything and phone slabs.

I built a podcast app and music app on a Playdate Console just because it's something that's not a slab to carry along with me.

As a designer people often think my job is to make stuff pretty... but I'm really just a context engineer. I help make good decisions by thinking deeply about the problems we're trying to solve for and building the context on what make products stand out.

@CastroPodcasts Any plans to fix Apple Watch sync? It works less than half the time for me.

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@jordibruin Any plan for when diarization will be released for MacWhisper?

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@Playdate It's been almost a month since I gave my serial number and I still haven't heard anything back. What's a Playdate fan to do?

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@jasonfried Is this the house from Ozark?

[Jontomato @jontomato]

If you're in the UX community, I've put together a Discord server for senior / principal designers. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to join.

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@jasonfried Thoughts on instead of having preview image of the projects in the stack, you simply list out the names of the projects in that same preview pane.

@andybudd Design is a Job

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@hpdailyrant @felidelg @joenatoli But why?

[Jontomato @jontomato]

I know most people are good at heart but… if I tell you that I’m from NC and you tell me that you know someone from SC, I will instantly dislike you.

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@hpdailyrant Setting ownership and responsibilities up front is also important. Something like a RACI matrix.

[Jontomato @jontomato]

@cabel It seemed super fun but it also kinda seemed like a cruise ship on land that never docked.
