@bricycle@street_space_ I'm sure @BenBowskill or @ZoeBanksGross would be able to connect you to the relevant team. Here's example from Ashton Gate Road installed Oct 2011 looking a bit warm now!

@bricycle@street_space_ Think it was the urban design team at @BristolCouncil - part of the Old City pedestrianisation scheme. There's actually a lot of history of patterned road markings around Bristol. Highways team are pretty relaxed about it. Earliest examples from 2011.
@WestofEnglandCA What does success look like? If you're massively oversubscribed, what happens to those that don't get a hanger? Are they automatically added to a waiting list for the roll-out programme I hope you have up your sleeves? I hope you won't come back in another 6 months to ask again?
@Catherinewith11 I'm not sure about illegal, but I would report to the Health and Safety Executive. If you're holding the camera and they've driven past you with the equipment running you're surely within an unsafe operating zone?
@BristolDon@bristolgreen During transport board meetings BCC officers were clear that the evidence showed the majority of car traffic on Glos Rd was local access only (short trips), not through traffic. Now some of these officers are at WECA they're implementing those workable proposals.
On the day where national policy is inexcusably scaled back, I'm proud that @UWEBristol is stepping forward. I'm part of our new Climate Education course - enabling students to understand the #ClimateCrisis, feel empowered and act to make a difference.

Bristol #SafeStreetsNow 30th Sept - please join us on East St, BS3 to call for safe streets for children, older people and everyone in all neighbourhoods across the city.
@RobBryher It was briefly during the pandemic, but then opened again shortly after again the traders objected. Very similar to St. Marks Road really. The Optibus office is just off Brick Lane!
@PeteWri71368222@ASPolice@BristolDon But I wasn't cycling, I was walking. So don't have '2 minutes pre and post' incident footage. I heard him coming and filmed a few seconds of him speeding up the street.
Hi @ASPolice how do pedestrians report this kind of driving behaviour, in a 20mph limit at school pick up time? Someone needs to speak to him before he causes a collision or kills a vulnerable road user. I've reported the same driver for a separate incident in June @BristolDon
The previous incident was on the same road and involved me, my wife and 2 kids while we were all on bikes cycling up the hill. I won't let my kids cycle on our local streets any more - it's not worth the risk while people can drive like this as they please.
