I've identified industrial-scale copyright violations on my content by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, X, and more.
These companies created thousands of crawlers incorporating the text of all my blog posts, open source code, and books into their paid AI models to profit exorbitantly.
Yesterday was the first time I heard of RAM prices going up due to demand from AI. I heard again today from another source, & indeed it appears that the price of RAM and computers has increased fairly dramatically this week. I feel like I'm back in 2020 w/ supply chain shortages.
As a conservative, I had a myriad of policy differences with this woman, but...
I know for DAMN sure, she wouldn't be disgracing America on the world stage and siding with dictators over our allies, right now.
Republicans' budget has a fundamental math problem.
An $880 billion cut is an attack on Medicaid, not “waste,” “fraud,” and “abuse.”
Let’s be clear—anyone who votes for this budget is voting to cut Medicaid.
McGovern: Democrats offered an amendment to protect Medicaid. Every Republican voted no.
Democrats offered an amendment to extend tax cuts for people making under $400,000 while ensuring that corporations and billionaires pay their fair share. Every Republican voted no.
Democrats offered an amendment preventing tax giveaways for people earning over $1 million a year. Every Republican voted no.
We asked them to vote against tax breaks for people earning over $100 million per year. Every Republican voted no.
We offered an amendment preventing tax cuts for people with a net worth of over, get this $1 billion. Every Republican voted no.
They betrayed their constituents. They voted to steal from the American people in order to protect tax breaks for billionaires
MUST-WATCH: House GOP leadership refused to allow Rep. Brittany Peterson, who's on maternity leave, to vote remotely, but that didn't stop her.
She showed up, not only voted but also spoke out against the GOP budget proposal with Sam, who turned 1 month old today, in her hands.
Washington could learn a thing or two from Georgia — we’re able to balance our budget, pay down our debt, and strategically invest in our people while returning over $7.6 billion dollars to Georgia taxpayers!
The GOP budget extends the 5 yr. tax holiday we’ve been enjoying, but because it doesn’t cut spending much, it increases the deficit by over $300 billion/yr. compared to letting tax cuts expire. Over 10 years, this budget will add $20 trillion to US debt.
@MarioNawfal And the more important question is total energy consumption. That’s 94 quadrillion BTUs annually. Or roughly 7 times the amount in electricity. So there goes 26% of the land at a cost of $105 Trillion. GDP for the USA is $27 Trillion. Add batteries and powerlines.
@MarioNawfal His calculation is wrong. It would take more land than that. The US consumes 4,000 TWh annually. It would take 14 million MW of solar panels at a cost of over $15 Trillion. It would cover 370x370 miles, or roughly 4% of all of the land in the US. Batteries would double the cost.
