I’ve been a fan of @CowboyJamboree’s work/aesthetic/whole dang deal for a long time, so I’m excited as all get-out to reveal the cover of my upcoming short story collection, dropping 11/18/25
Seriously, though, @TexasMonthly reeeeeeally needs to do a profile on Kevin Grauke’s short story collection, WEST OF DESTRY from @CowboyJamboree
I had the chance to blurb it, and I’m rereading it right now, and my God if it isn’t one of the best collections I’ve ever read
I don’t get back to Missouri all that much any more, so I’m thrilled to stomp through my old stomping grounds (Columbia) and read with some of the best writers in the game next month!
I've been largely inactive here. I've not written anything in a long time.
But, it makes my heart happy to see one of my absolute favorite authors (@adamshaw502) being published by my favorite publisher (@CowboyJamboree).
Huge, huge win for everyone everywhere!

My oldest daughter is locked in to this JFK assassination show on ABC and man oh man oh MAN have I been waiting for this moment. I can’t wait to introduce her to Babushka Lady, Umbrella Man, the Three Tramps…the whole gang!
I worry that Wembanyama will get caught up in the distractions of New York City, like the Rose Reading Room at the public library or the upcoming conference on participatory futures at The New School
