My purpose on this platform, through thebhlub, has always been the same, to safeguard Duriyadda Reer Sheekh Isaxaaq and represent Somaliland's cause as cogently and truthfully as I can.

Safeguarding duriyadda is not limited to beating faqash only. Sometimes, unhinged voices in our midst can be more damaging than any qadaadweyn could ever be.

When you step back and look at the bigger picture, you'll notice that historically many of our worst outcomes began with good intentions. Case in point: the idea of uniting with Somalia, rewriting Isaaq's nasab for political convenience (to become Dir then Irir)... we have a propensity for this.

And so, over the years, I have made a point to call out every deranged element in our midst, sheekadani maanta mey bilaabin.

When you look at the landscape on X today, you will see parallels to the stupidity happening irl. You see emotional people with little knowledge pushing talking points like "Isaaq are no longer Somali" purely for perceived political gain. They dont mean harm, but they are causing harm by messing with Isaaq's history and ethnicity. I have called them out too.

You will see grifters impersonating official Somaliland accounts and dragging our name into issues we have no business being associated with, like the Falkland Islands, or deporting Ilhan Omar to Somaliland. They probably dont mean harm, but a stupid move is a stupid move, and it brought consequences with Cirro having to make a statement on it. I have called them out too.

Mr. "We long for you" is no different. Wuxuu isleeyahay fikrad cusub baad latimi, by spamming random people on here with his unhinged message. Only God knows the number of accounts he sent it to. Forget the humiliating response he received. Look at the message itself.

There was no advocacy in it. Qof baryootamiya uun buu ahaa. There wasn't a single persuasive point explaining why Somaliland deserves recognition. It was a pure plea to emotions.

Somaliland lexajecla badan baa iga haysa. I have helped build this online presence we see today along with many patriots.

We cant allow deranged voices in our midst chasing likes and retweets to ruin years of hard work.

There are many ways to advocate for Somaliland, and I'm not asking everyone to do it my way. But every one of us represents Somaliland when we speak in its name. We owe it to our people to be truthful, measured, and authentic.

Good intentions are, 100%, not enough.
