A €200 hoodie isn't "premium merch". For many European fans, that's 10–15% of a monthly salary. A €70 T-shirt is 3–5% of a month's income. You're not competing with other merch companies anymore : you're competing with rent, groceries and utility bills !!!

So let me introduce you to the european taxes system with example:
✨️When BTS merch arrives at the EU border, customs officials apply tax in a specific order, creating a compounding tax:

First, they calculate Duty: If you bring €10,000 worth of hoodies, a 12% border duty is applied (€1,200).
Next, they calculate VAT: They add the duty to the original value (€11,200) and apply the local VAT rate (e.g., 20% in France). Your Import VAT is €2,240.
Total paid at border: €3,440 just in taxes just to sell the merch. Do you all thought who would cover/pay this amount???
In GENERAL, in all markets, is usually the consumer😃😃
