@mperez_csub@techteach_csub Hi Melissa, thank you for sharing BrainPop. I will definitely be looking it up and take advantage of its benefits as a future educator.
@techteach_csub I could teach my students the importance of digital citizenship by providing them with a lesson when assigning chrome books. I could go into detail about internet safety, etiquette, respecting, educating, and protecting online. It's important to keep everyone safe. #EDTE4200tc12
@aaronc_csub@techteach_csub Hi aaron, giving your students different ways to learn is a great approach. A resource such as a video can further explain and fill in any gaps in the lesson being taught, especially those more tedious.
@techteach_csub I believe the most useful Kahn Academy video is the reading & language arts based on grade level. Reading is very important and the foundation in education, without being able to read it is difficult to learn. This can be integrated in an ELA/language arts lesson. #EDTE4200tc11
@Jessicaortiz101@techteach_csub Hi Jessica, google forms is indeed easy to use. For the tech quest assignments it was fun and easy to create surveys. I like how you will use it to get to know your students better. Great idea!
@techteach_csub My favorite google tool to use is google slides. I could implement this into the classroom by assigning projects to be done on google slides. Group work could also be done on google slides as it can be shared among a group of students to collaborate. #EDTE4200tc10
@techteach_csub I would have enjoyed Item 56: coding on Minecraft! A teacher could implement this in the classroom as free time if work is completed early or if incorporated into a math lesson. This is a great way to introduce STEM. #EDTE4200tc9
@futbol__fanatic@techteach_csub Hi William, I also enjoyed learning how to embed videos. I did not know how to previously do this and it is extremely helpful to know this for future reference.
@techteach_csub My favorite item from sessions 1-8 was item #27, creating a survey using google forms. This is important because I can implement it into my classroom for surveys on getting to know my students and also to quiz them on lesson plans. #EDTE4200tc8
@techteach_csub I would use Teach-nology to create a rubric. I would use a rubric for any subject, this way students stay on track and achieve passing grades or it shows them the criteria they must meet. Rubrics also help facilitate grading for teachers. #EDTE4200tc6
@mperez_csub@techteach_csub Hi Melissa, having a rubric that shows students everything they were able to accomplish is a great idea. This gives students the motivation they need to succeed.

@alv47380102@techteach_csub Hi Evan, Powerpoint is a great platform to use. I remember using it in high school and it was easy to use. There are also a lot of ways to be creative with it.
@techteach_csub A presentation tool I would implement in a lesson plan is google slides. Google slides is easy to use and can include text, pictures, videos, animation, etc. Google slides can also be shared with others. I would use it for lessons, assignments, and group projects. #EDTE4200tc5
@Jst33zy17@techteach_csub Hi Jacob, Classdojo is a fun way to promote positive behavior in the classroom in regards to classroom management. I also believe that parent involvement is vital for student progress. If parents are unaware how their student is doing, they cant get them the help they need.
@techteach_csub I believe google classroom is the most effective classroom management tool. With google classroom, I can store lessons, give assignments, quizzes, share documents, manage different classes, etc. Google classroom is simple to use and everything is all in one place. #EDTE4200tc4
@alv47380102@techteach_csub Hi Evan! Kahoot is another great way to assess students. Not only do you receive instant feedback on the results but it makes it fun and competitive for students.
@techteach_csub I believe Socrative is an effective tool to assess student understanding. I would use Socrative during or after a lesson to assess if students are comprehending my lessons. Many students can say they understand but the results can confirm with instant feedback. #EDTE4200tc3
@aaronc_csub@techteach_csub Hi Aaron, my group will also be using Zoom to communicate. I think it's a great platform to use especially with online courses. This allows for better collaboration.
