@StuntmanStu I don’t care how many legendary food takes he has, I don’t care what he thinks of my team. Most people aren’t gonna be upset over a finger when the league literally allows players to intentionally elbow others in the skull without discipline. You ain’t one of ‘em.
@AileenMAO@Steve_Dangle@sdpnsports 1. If taking shifts off is his biggest issue than he’s one of the smaller problems on the team. 2. Contract holdout is his right in the CBA. 3. He was CLEARLY laughing in frustration. I said it while watching. 4. He wasn’t flipping off the fans. “Why’s the camera on us?”
@OilDrips@Steve_Dangle 1. Not a national broadcast, it was regional. 2. He was clearly frustrated - I quite literally said out loud to my wife when I watched it, “Nylander’s so mad he’s laughing.” 3. The fact that we’re even talking about this just proves the NHL is anything but a professional league.
@Steve_Dangle Steve, you see, Utah is the real NHL, where nobody cares about it and it’s completely irrelevant. The Leafs aren’t the real NHL because they bankroll the entire league and everyone loves to see them suffer. It’s pretty simple really!
@BringHallBack4@NHLPlayerSafety You are oh so very intellectually inept if that’s why you think people are upset with this. We have players intentionally elbowing other players in the head, on multiple occasions, without a penalty on the ice or any kind of discipline … but the finger gets a fine. Clown show.
@NHLPlayerSafety The NHL - the only league that refers to itself as professional yet allows certain teams players to intentionally elbow others in head without any repercussions again and again, but loses their mind over the finger.
I swear, you guys are the laughing stock of all sports.
@OilDrips@Steve_Dangle The fact that it is a big deal tells me to be scared shitless about the state of society, and absolutely nothing about the guy who did it other than he was frustrated and had a regrettable moment.
@troyflintoff@Steve_Dangle I understand you’re frustrated with the state of the team, & Willy has always been polarizing, but there is no player more perfectly suited to be in TO market. Mitch was never going to survive. Obvious since he signed his last deal & got sour every time there was a camera around.
@Steve_Dangle Sooo … I know he’s been better, and I’m glad, but can someone please look into how many of the OT games this year we’ve lost where Domi touches the ice? He doesn’t even have to be on for the goal. I’m convinced if his skates touch the ice in OT, Leafs lose 9/10 times.
Think I’m right in saying this, but … have the Leafs lost every game in which Domi is played in OT, while Domi’s on the ice? I said it, outloud, to my wife, “Domi’s on the ice in OT, this is a loss,” & approx. 10 seconds later the game was over on a Domi giveaway. #LeafsForever
@happymeal_mc@GeneralsUpdates It is very, VERY clear that you are Paul Marner. Like, anyone with eyes and a brain that’s not of life support would see that.
@MintFresh76@49erscap@NettlesUpRiver@OneMoreVoice97@krassenstein Every press conference is just one lie after another. I gave up paying attention after he sat beside Zelensky and quoted numbers nobody else can corroborate. Just waiting for someone to tell me either he’s been popped, impeached, imprisoned or that there are states seceding.
@Ferocious_Lions@ChrisNowinski1 Post concussion a person can potentially operate on autopilot at a fairly high level for quite a period of time without ever having any recollection of this period of time. Ask me how I know.
@BruvRoy21806@ChrisNowinski1 Whatever you’re mad about, no need to take it out on one of the few individuals left on this app who ACTUALLY know what they’re talking about.
@BKHockeyTalk@DownToBlack No thanks. If he played in Toronto, the first instance of any of this that he does, he’s suspended. Look at Kadri and Bunting. Both were the talk of the hockey world for “diving” and being dirty while they were in Toronto. Now you barely hear either name outside their market.
