Big drawback of teaching behavioural economics is that by week 2 the students have figured out that when I ask them a question the intuitive answer is *not* going to be correct answer so they start to second guess everything and exhibit approximately none of the expected biases

@rorysutherland this is Posner/Weil's idea in Radical Markets not? In their version we put up a minimum sale price for all our belongings (house, car etc) and then pay a tax equal to a percentage of these prices...

Both "shops advertising 'winning ticket sold here'" and "last weeks winning numbers picked less often" are examples of Gambler's Fallacy, but they work in different directions: one assumes that history repeats, other it doesn't. Can we use GF to explain biases in any direction?
