🚨 Wild finish at Shelby County Speedway! It came down to the checkered flag with a last-second pass by the California Cowboy, Ethan Dotson. He showed speed on the high side early, and it paid off on the final lap.
Before that, it looked like Daulton Wilson and Bobby Pierce were headed for a 1-2 finish. On the last lap, Wilson got caught up in Turns 1 and 2, causing Pierce to slide into him and come to a complete stop. Wilson kept his tires moving and held his position, while Pierce ended up at the front of the lapped cars.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ (Check out Video 3)

🚨Bobby Pierce Dominates Hawkeye 100 for Historic 19th World of Outlaws Win🚨

MAQUOKETA, Iowa — Bobby Pierce delivered a masterclass performance Saturday night at the Hawkeye 100, leading all 60 laps at Maquoketa Speedway to claim the $25,000 victory and etch his name deeper into World of Outlaws Super Late Model history.
Starting from the pole alongside Hudson O’Neal, Pierce grabbed the lead on the opening lap and never looked back. The “Smooth Operator” navigated lap traffic with ease and held off multiple challenges to secure a flawless win, becoming the first driver ever to record 19 feature victories in a single World of Outlaws Super Late Model season.
The race was not without drama. Just three laps in, a multi-car pileup in Turns 3 and 4 sent Tyler Erb and Nick Hoffman flipping. Both drivers righted their machines under caution and rejoined the field. Later, a slip off the track by Gustin brought out another yellow, while Ricky Thornton Jr. pulled into an unsafe spot in the infield to force yet another caution.
On the restarts, Pierce remained in control. O’Neal and Brandon Sheppard gave chase early, with Jonathan Davenport charging forward to pass Sheppard and later close back in on O’Neal after he had briefly pulled away. Brian Shirley worked his way past Sheppard for fourth, while Dalton Wilson found grip on the bottom to overtake Tim McCreadie for seventh.
Further back, the field saw strong recoveries. Erb Jr. climbed 16 positions, and Hoffman fought back into the top 10 with 25 laps remaining after his earlier flip.
Pierce, however, was untouchable up front. He handled heavy lap traffic without issue and cruised to the checkered flag in dominant fashion, turning the final stages into what felt like a Sunday stroll.
The victory not only added another trophy to Pierce’s impressive 2026 campaign but also cemented a singular milestone in the series’ record books.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
