This person and his team had nothing to do with that solution and why they were not included in the patent, which funny enough, they also tried to take credit for.. might really need that blog post.
Not surprised to see another attempt to claim credit. Might want to check whose names are on the patent before telling that story. Maybe I’ll write a post clearing up that the “edit button” came from my 2018 Hackweek project @paraga chose to ship—not what you “designed.”
TL;DR: Twitter is built on micro-services and has a lot of internal and external third-party dependencies, so editing a Tweet was not really possible, so my idea was based on versioning Tweets, which also solved abuse issues. Featured launched without abuse or pushback.
X Pro is literally the entire roadmap I put together over 2 years ago... not sure what that says about anything.. I also don't think it was going to make money, so intrigued to see what's the plan. Paywall was the fast exit to deprecate old client – not make millions or billions.
Anyone that still works here, mind helping me delete my account? I'm probably in some role for either subscriptions or delegation or from a bunch of other stuff that's preventing me from deleting my account. Thank you.
Twitter has meant a lot to me. It changed my life, and I helped change it. It's time to say goodbye as a new chapter begins. I wish everyone still or to be involved nothing but the best. Onwards and upwards.
Devastating news this morning, Bob Costas will be calling the France v England match on Fox. Making matters worse, he’ll likely call the final as well, very sad day for those of us who want a proper announcer calling the games.
