@Jukanlosreve Moving from my power-hungry S20+ with a Samsung CPU, to an S24U with a Qualcomm one, was like a night and day for my phone's battery life. They will need a lot of marketing to convince Europe to buy a phone with a Samsung CPU.

Nice practices @commerzbank - when your login page does not work, 1st I have to wait 1.5 hrs to be called back, and then you drop the callback call immediately. Very customer-friendly. Very "we are a company of 5 people, and you cannot expect us to deliver any reliable service."

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@TanelPoder @paul_bridger Optimistic way of thinking. IMHO that is just an intermediary step. And even in that, I expect, that lots of people w/o AI will be replaced by a few people with AI.

Another year @oracleace found me worthy of the Oracle ACE Director title - this is my first blog post of this next chapter: https://t.co/t2hHdZqSqF

Thank you and have fun digging into Oracle checkpoint queue internals!

One thing I never understood @elonmusk - why would you chose a dark color as the default for the Tesla cars, if it effectively reduces the car's range? (dark color <=> more absorption of sunlight => more energy wasted on AC to cool the car)

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@elonmusk Luckily enough, there is plenty of countries on this planet, which do not have such issues, so they will "save humanity", when the "selected number of countries" start dying out. For example, this is not at all a problem for Afrika, afaik.

@RyanShead @realDonaldTrump I just remember how the whole world was trembling in fear, that he would trigger the nuclear football in the last few days of his presidency just out of spite ..

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@tyyehh @DJSnM No, it was a successful test of the self-destruct subsystem.

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@nixcraft my 2nd programming language, after BASIC

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@UniverseIce .. well, at least they will know the answer for the question "Why are our phones not selling as good as we expected?"

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@teslaownersSV Well, the reporter's response was wrong. If he was so sure, that he could find an example, "a single example", he should have told Elon, to give him a minute to get his laptop, and show him. How many people remember even a few hours later, what crap pops up at them in their feed?

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

Thanks, @Oracle_DE, for the healthy snack for the body, after all the "snacks" for the mind at the #DOAG2023

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

#DOAG2023 still empty at 07:45am, but at least a small breakfast buffet is already available downstairs 😄

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@kylelf_ Self-improving programs are the dream since the beginning of computer programming. It would seem like we're getting nearer to it at a faster pace these days, but it is not really a new idea.

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@kylelf_ Household income going up despite "inflation adjustment" seems suspicious.

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

[Josef Kraitz @josefkraitz]

@Uber, when you send me an email, saying, that I have a 50% promo, but in the app apply only a 10% promo, that's called a lie and false advertisement.
