@darklytphoto @meganeabbott 3rd gen photographer here. 8x10 is a standard print size. Has nothing to do with the negative ratio. But most likely that photo was taken with a large format Graflex Speed Graphic or an adjacent model. It’s what my grandfather used in the late ‘40s for forensic photos.
