My younger brother worked as an aircraft technician and also supported himself with Uber. He was able to do so many things as a young man before he finally left the country. I remember 3 of his friends who supported their families with proceeds from Uber; one of them later relocated to New Zealand.

Many people like that relied on Uber, Bolt, and others to sustain themselves and their families.

When manufacturing companies were leaving the country, "The Progressives" said it was because they couldn't compete with the local market. Now it is the turn of Uber to leave.

No business will pull out of a thriving economy, but we can continue to use grammar to defend the indefensible.

Our reality will always counter propaganda!

I am sure by the time "The Progressives" finish their WhatsApp meeting, we will have their own reason why Uber is leaving the country and why the exit won't affect Nigerians who relied on that business to survive this hostile economy.
