@waverchocs This is such a good read… I love how you broke down the problems and the solution Oarcoin is tuning with, the framework of social wallets is good, but it can’t be built on just one layer (social)
There is a concept that can almost guarantee successful product building!
The problem is not that you do not have a viable idea, the problem is that you are looking at product building the wrong way.
You hear a lot of experts say, idea validation or feasibility study is what guarantees the success of a product, this is a very important don’t get me wrong, but at the end of the day validating your idea might be giving you the wrong data, because you’re validating the wrong thing.
Most founders validates a furnished concept of their idea, they test the shiny version with branding, UI and lots of features, and this is wrong.
You don’t validate gold necklace by studying the necklace, you validate the gold first! the necklaces is only the form it takes. Do you catch it?
Every product is built around a basic core feature
Your product success is entirely dependent on the validation of its basic core feature revised.
Before you validate any ideas, there are two questions you have to answer:
What is the basic core feature?
How is my execution different?
There are different execution to any basic core feature, (The initial/execution of many core features have already been built, but you can trace where your idea changes or improve the feature)
Let’s take Payment for instance
The product powering payments have changed in many different ways over time, but the core feature stayed the same: which is MOVING VALUE
Cash
|
Wire transfer
|
Cards
|
Internet banking
|
Blockchain technology
If you notices all of this systems are primarily built on the Payment feature… same core feature better execution
I have seen many founders validate a fully formed product idea and discovering later on that the idea is good but it doesn’t establish itself as an effective execution of the core feature
So, here’s my take
If you want to build a successful product, beat your idea down to its basic core features, strip it off the shiny attributes and engineer the core to execute better.
Then validation that, the data you get would have less assumptions, and it would shape your idea succeed.

@pp_privatejet I’m not asking for myself alone. If you tip me, I’m not keeping it. It goes straight back to my community and to people who actually need the tools to eat.

They told me people will classify you as a fake
And I said, that's fine.
