Anyone who is younger than 60 years old should be aware of what former Soviet Prime Minister Nikita Khrushchev said during an address to the United Nations in 1959...."Your children's children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright; but, we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism.

We will not have to fight you. We will so weaken your economy, until you will fall like overripe fruit into our hands. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not"

It was September 29, 1959, when Nikita Khrushchev delivered his prediction for America at the United Nations. I was just 10 years old, but I remember like it was yesterday the television coverage of him banging his shoe on the podium.

At that time, just the word "communism" was feared throughout our nation.

Remember this. Socialism leads to Communism How do you create a Socialist State?

There are eight levels of control…

1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people

2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them.

3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level.

That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government . That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.

6) Education - Take control of what people read, listen to and take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people.

8)Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the rich with the support of the poor.

Here is our scary future: Six of those levels are already being pushed - ARE YOU AWAKE?

All of these levels are being worked on including erasing history, and destroying monuments now.

Another thing that happens when tyrants take over, they remove the police and put their own henchmen in their place.

Now keep in mind that we (US_OGA) are the small companies that produce oil and gas - not the big boys that are fully integrated and produce, transport and run refineries. We don't do that. We just pull it out of the ground and sell it to whoever will buy it.

But those other guys are bad at explaining things because they have comms teams that are scared of their own shadows so we have to do if for them sometimes.

That won't keep some of you from yelling at us. So be it.

But yelling at us is like yelling at a farmer for the price of a box of cereal.

Minnesota's head coach just launched himself into a mob of his own players at full sprint. P.J. Fleck crowd-surfs after every win, today's was his 100th, and the mania took 15 years to build. It started with the worst thing that can happen to a person.

In February 2011, Fleck's infant son Colt died of a heart condition. Fleck was a 30-year-old receivers coach at the time. He came up with a phrase to get himself out of bed. Row the boat. Your back faces the future, you can't see what's coming, all you control is the oar.

Two years later Western Michigan made him the youngest head coach in the FBS. He went 1-11 his first season and people laughed at the boat stuff. By 2016 the same program went 13-0 and made the Cotton Bowl.

When Minnesota hired him away in 2017, there was a catch. Western Michigan had trademarked "Row the Boat." The school owned the legal rights to the phrase he created for his son. Fleck paid them $50,000 out of his own pocket, structured as a scholarship for a walk-on player, to take the words with him.

Nine years of rowing later, today happened. Minnesota beat #24 Michigan 20-14, took back the Little Brown Jug for the first time since 2014, and beat them at home for the first time in 49 years. 51,012 fans stormed the field.

So yes, the man flies into that pile looking slightly unhinged. He knows better than anyone in that locker room that you don't get to choose which days are the good ones. You just keep rowing until one shows up.

The sneering is the whole fucking story.

They sneer at Hegseth for talking about fitness. They sneer at the “warrior” language. They sneer at standards. They sneer at discipline. They sneer because @CynicalPublius point goes far deeper than waistlines, drones, or one stupid daytime-TV segment.

His argument is that Hegseth is tearing into an ideological culture that spent years burrowing into one of the most respected institutions in America.

That is why the hatred feels so damn personal.

Cynical’s “skin suit” point explains the fury perfectly: take a respected institution, hollow it out, fill it with your ideology, then demand the public keep saluting the shell because of what that institution used to represent.

Then Hegseth comes in swinging a wrecking ball.

DEI programs. Cultural priorities. Lowered expectations. Bureaucratic rot. All of it suddenly gets dragged into the light and challenged under one brutal standard:

Does this help us win wars?

And that is where the sneering becomes revealing as hell.

While they mock him as some chest-thumping relic obsessed with pushups and beards, his Pentagon is simultaneously building around drones, AI, robotics, autonomy, rapid acquisition, and future warfare.

So the caricature collapses.

The man they paint as backward is pushing technological modernization.

The man they ridicule for demanding warriors is also building the machinery those warriors will use in the next war.

That is Cynical’s larger point: the rage against Hegseth comes from the fact that he is attacking the old cultural order at the same time he is rebuilding the warfighting one.

They keep sneering at the warrior.

Meanwhile, the warrior is ripping their fucking skin suit off the Pentagon.

Alors ils font ce que font les bâtisseurs quand un système les trahit. Ils ne le réforment pas. Ils en construisent un autre, à côté.

Elon n'a pas attendu que la NASA se réveille, il a fait SpaceX. Il n'a pas réformé les médias, il a racheté la place publique. Les entrepreneurs ne cherchent plus à convaincre l'État. Ils font l'État, partout où l'État a abdiqué.

Relisez La Grève d'Ayn Rand. Nous y sommes. Les bureaucrates gardent les titres, les budgets, les bâtiments. Mais ils perdent la seule chose qui compte : la confiance. Aux États-Unis, à peine 28 % des gens font encore confiance aux médias. Un plus bas historique. Plus personne ne croit ceux qui prétendent nous dire quoi penser.

On entend partout que l'école est finie. Je pense exactement l'inverse.

Ce n'est pas l'école qui est morte. Ce sont les institutions qui l'ont confisquée. L'école, la vraie, celle de l'Académie d'Athènes, des ateliers de la Renaissance, du maître et de l'apprenti, va renaître. Plus exigeante. Plus juste. Sans dette, sans dogme, sans diplôme comme rente à vie.

Une école qui ne fabriquera plus des diplômés, mais des polymathes. Des esprits libres, capables de coder, de penser, de construire et de douter. Ce sont eux qui créeront la valeur des cinquante prochaines années.

J'ai appris à coder seul à 12 ans. Aucun amphi ne m'a appris ce que j'ai appris en construisant. Je sais ce que devient un talent quand on le laisse respirer.

L'université a eu des siècles pour former les meilleurs esprits. Les entrepreneurs vont le faire en une décennie.

Because Rogers is exactly the kind of leader equipped to recognize and investigate a genuine national-security threat.

IT INVITED HIM IN TO SPEAK TO ITS YOUTH.

Now El-Sayed wants Michigan to send him to the United States Senate.
