I’ve been a math teacher, and this specifically is taught when teaching order of operations so that students understand the different ways items will be written.

@JohnnyCrypto18 @SqSehrish You clearly don’t comprehend simple instructions. It doesn’t say divide 10 in half it says divide 10 BY half, which is 1/2 or 0.5. If it read the way you’re incorrectly interpreting it, you’d be correct.

Not so much in the city I live in, but there are some. I know if I moved to a foreign country and was going to live there for a while I’d learn the language.
