He needs about 100 AB before we can determine who he is. The only advantage he has over Benge is raw power; Benge is better in every other facet of the game.

@TalkinBaseball_ I think this is a bit of a mirage. Take almost any great starter of the modern era, tell him to stop pacing himself and throw every pitch at max effort, and you’d probably see a crazy stretch of dominance too. Incredible to watch, but I don’t see how it’s sustainable.
