Spending over a trillion dollars to randomly send everyone in the country a check for five grand, including people who are not even net taxpayers -- which makes this, yes, welfare -- is idiotic. Sorry. We did that during covid and it didn't help anything. Only made inflation worse. This is flagrant bribery. Which I could maybe stomach if the plan itself was at least sensible and coherent, but it isn't.
FLASHBACK of Nick Fuentes clarifying his stance on fascism and what the ideal government should be on Warren Smith's show
"We're sort of post ideological"
@tucciarone2026 I worked at tpusa for 4 years and can confirm this. HR was gay, benny's former assistant is gay, the faith sept had gay people, by influencers, and it seemed leadership in some sept were gay as well
I've seen a lot of incredibly stupid straw men on this site over the years, but neocons actually pretending that the whole affordability conversation is literally just about burritos is maybe the stupidest one of all time
The conservatives on here denying the affordability crisis are engaged in what I can only describe as an act of political suicide. They're also lying, which is the worst part. Grocery prices are up. Housing. Energy. Insurance. Health care. Basic living expenses. It's real. It's happening. Denying it just makes you look out of touch, deceitful, and untrustworthy. It's also a completely unnecessary and unforced error. No credible person is claiming that Trump caused these price surges. You don't have to disgrace yourself by denying the reality in front of your face just to prove your loyalty to Trump. The causes for the most part are multi faceted, complicated, and longstanding. That's true. So let's discuss them. Debating whether the problem exists at all -- or, if it does exist, whether it counts as a problem -- is a total waste of time, and makes you look like a shill and a fraud.
Not sure an article from 2016 really tells us anything about a grocery price surge that started in 2020. But regardless, “it’s worse in other countries” is a really bad answer and it certainly won’t be enough to persuade voters. We expect to be better than other countries. This is America. Better than other countries is bare minimum.
