It has been three years of complaining but still there is no respite from horrendous fumes spread by diesel gensets of #VipulBusinessPark in the midst of a residential area.
Sector 48, #Gurgaon. More superstore is present in this complex.
In Mizoram's dense forests, there is ONE elephant left.
She is female. She has been alone for over a decade.
And she is searching for a male partner as per villagers I interviewed. My story of the last elephant of Dampa with with @PARInetwork,
In the bustling streets of Navi Mumbai, India, a group of teenagers (mostly 17–18 years old) from the youth-led environmental team Urvari saw stray dogs struggling in the heavy monsoon rains.
Determined to help, they collected plastic waste from their neighborhoods and created "eco-bricks" by tightly packing non-recyclable plastic bags and wrappers into used plastic bottles. It took around 150 of these sturdy "bottle bricks" (equivalent to about 40 kg of plastic) to build one durable, raised shelter—elevated off the wet ground, weather-resistant, and easy to place in parks or safe corners.
They installed their first ones at places like Rajiv Gandhi Udyan, giving street dogs a dry, safe spot during the downpours. What started as a small Plastic Free July project showed how youth power and creativity can tackle two big problems at once: plastic pollution and animal suffering.
Meanwhile, in Zacatecas, Mexico, at the Zacatecas Educational Institute elementary school, 35 young students (guided by their teacher) launched a similar mission. They gathered recycled materials from home—plastic bottles, cardboard, old sheets, wood scraps, and cloth—and built cozy, insulated dog houses designed to protect stray dogs from cold nights and rain.
The goal was double: create safe havens for abandoned animals and promote recycling in their community. Once finished, the children proudly donated the shelters to the local non-profit Albergues Lazos Caninos, a rescue group that cares for strays in the region. Their creative project went viral, inspiring others to see trash as treasure for helping voiceless creatures.
The audacity of the mom of the minor boys who committed such heinous crime to utter something like “Teri beti ke saath aisa hi hona chahiye”. Such is the mindset!
The minor boys parents as well must be booked under non bailable sections and should be sentenced accordingly. It’s high time that parents of minor children take responsibility of their children’s criminal acts. All this is happening because of their disastrous upbringing 😡😡🤬😡

@meisteramg@JFAnimalWelfare In the same society if an unattended toddler is harmed or hurt, then the parents are reprimanded and the child taken away. Maybe that should be implemented before anything else then?

@diprogurugram1@DC_Gurugram@DiprHaryana@cmohry The schools need to open + the administration needs to do actual productive work to curb air pollution instead of stopping students from being in class.
The 24*7 air pollution from Vipul Business Park, Sector 48, #Gurgaon continues since mid-2021. Daily 150 families of Bellevue & thousands of underprivileged people in nearby Tikri village have to deal with this. @CPCB_OFFICIAL even now @hspcbrogrs has done nothing. @cmohry
@AmazonHelp I am unable to place another order as there is an old product exchange involved.
And it says that unless the earlier order is cancelled, until then I cannot place another order along with buy back of old product. Pl atleast get the order cancelled properly & my money refunded.
@AmazonHelp The order cancellation by your delivery agent was done claiming that I have rejected the product. He / she has not called me, not visited my location. So on what basis has he / she made this claim? Is this not fraud?
I dont understand why you wouldn't offer your customers who are buying large takeaways a delivery bag on a chargeable basis? I could not have carried 5 small bags + 1 ice cream. But with the delivery bag i was able to carry everything.
Location MGF Metropolis mall, Gurgaon. (3/3)
.@McDonalds your staff in #India need empowerment.
Had to buy some stuff for my kid and her friends today. The total bill was more than INR 750/- . It was a takeaway. I asked the staff to provide me a delivery bag. The manager was rude & said it is not their policy. (1/3)
I offered to pay the charges for it but the manager kept saying it is not their policy to offer the chargeable bag. The cashier, however, billed me Rs. 39 and handed the delivery bag.
So basically, it is very much possible to offer a delivery bag for large takeaways? (2/3)
