@PeterSchiff STRC has 2 years of cash backups for dividends and 47 years of bitcoin. There is still risk, but it would require a sustained bull market larger than reserves.
That said I dont buy STRC - only BTC directly
@GrahamBensinger@GovRonDeSantis Hes basically saying property taxes spiked 40% because of increases in appraised value of homes, so he wants to slowly phase-in a 40% decrease (maybe 30% after the adjustments he mentioned) to return to the same level of property taxes before the 40% hike
@PeterSchiff@saylor Not a Ponzi, it’s a variable-rate perpetual dividend wrapped in stock. 2-year cash and 47-year BTC reserves = HUGE collateral. The risk is a long bear forcing BTC sales, but I’m with you: I won’t buy $STRC. Better to own #Bitcoin directly. No counterparty risk, just pure upside.
