@femboytradwife@Serf_InTheCity@WallStreetApes You have no solutions. You have only grievances.
You can pretend I'm not up to date. But I'm the one with the future, and you are the one complaining on your $1400 phone that you can't afford to "live."
@BigMacAttack41@MageManX@WallStreetApes Since I was in 8th grade, my 'teachers' have been telling me the National Debt will kill this country.
That was almost 40 years ago.
There's nothing new. You are being manipulated.
@LT_CREAM@WallStreetApes Fuck you, you entitled piece of shit.
I started my "career" at 15 making $4.25 per hour.
My first apartment was with a friend paying $650 per month.
I could afford it because I made the choice to make it happen and made sacrifices in other areas.
Grow up.
I planned ahead in my life. I made my own fate.
You sit here waiting for someone to hand you what you want on a platter.
I'm going to get what I deserve. Because I made it happen rather than sit online and complain about how everything that happens to me is someone else's fault.
@PhilWhittlesee@chronicparent@WallStreetApes The difference between you and me is, if I need a pillow, I won't ask. Because I am not interested in demanding anything of you. Nor am I going to complain to you about my problems.
Because I'm an adult, and you are a child.
I didn't want to think that these kids needed "Internet Dads," but they clearly do.
If they want to bemoan something, it should be that they weren't taught how to take care of themselves by their parents or their high schools.
Home Economics is more than just cooking.
People laugh that I drove to three grocery stores (two in the same parking lot, one across the road) to save maybe $40 reloading on meat, but saving money is all about thinking in terms of years, even decades.
It all adds up, and when you sock away what you saved in an IRA or 401K or CD, it prints free money for you.
Putting a UberEats meal on a credit card charging you 22% is lunacy. Youโre lighting money on fire.
Take that money and put it in the market long term. Before you know it, it will double. Just keep on keeping on socking it away. Youโll be amazed how quickly the years pass and how it added up.
Interest can bankrupt you or make you financially secure. Be smart.
@NolteNC I didn't want to think that these kids needed "Internet Dads," but they clearly do.

@RKerob27907@WallStreetApes Point me to one case of someone starving because they couldn't afford a phone and food at the same time.
Your argument is stupid, and you are a liar.
Lived in a house built in 1956 with asbestos siding. Redid the entire interior, landscaping, etc. Resold for 10k+ when the time to move came.
Keep building equity. Keep building the 401k. Live within your means.
These should be no brainers. The entitlement of these people is mindboggling.
@WallStreetApes NOT TO MENTION...
We grew up in the aftermath of 1970s hyperinflation, with our parents all telling us how candy bars used to only cost 15 cents and gas was 25 cents a gallon.
There is nothing new under the sun.
Which is why your bellyaching is so insufferable.
@WallStreetApes Dude. You guys have to get the fuck off this bullshit.
We didn't have Internet.
We didn't have cell phones.
We didn't have power windows on our cars.
We didn't have Spotify.
We had whatever was free, whatever was cheap.
I'm Gen X, I'll die on this hill. Grow the fuck up.
