@tha_rami A flat spin can also be more likely to develop in a few configurations: an aircraft with substantial structure forward of the CG (eg delta wings like the F14 and Sukhois), one with asymmetric thrust (failed engine), and one loaded with the CG past the rear limit.
@greeniydbandit @Exchairstacker @state4945 weaponized shame, great description. They glassed my mental health with nonstop shame. While it may not be doctrine, I learned I’m a piece of shit human that doesn’t deserve god’s mercy if I don’t delete the human that he made me as, to instead be a mindless doctrinal zombie.
@al4n_woot @Exchairstacker @state4945 The church’s view on sex and sexuality is mentally deranged and does not approach it from a realistic PoV. They set you up to fail as a sexual being, that god made this way, and it’s all shame, all the time, if you struggle with sexual transgression. 30y member, now fomo.
@PattiRaddi2@AugustusinT@PFinnegan324@ifschell Empirical literally means learned through experience, their experience of being ostracized by the church is empirical. Are you trying to say his grandparent’s experience didn’t actually happen? Your PoV seems that the church is perfectly faultless and nobody has bad experiences.
@Athan_K I think it’s unfortunate that they made money the only variable. A wise russian shared something with me: to be a leader, you need to give people a great task or a great enemy. With our industries great task evolving to a pure profit focus, it’s no wonder there was little change.
@asanwal It used to be that you had to have a leased line to the clearinghouse to do realtime transactions. This is basically a fully-allocated copper pair from your office or datacenter to them. Their network effects insured the clearinghouse monopolies when the internet happened.
@MaxRovensky@NTFabiano Re: fMRI imaging: as it’s based in blood flow, it makes me think a lot if things around cause/effect between blood flow and function, as well as shroom’s effects on bloodflow.
@lookoutitsbbear I think you’re on a better track, but it sounds like however you’re discriminating data might be the more valuable contribution. I’m not familiar with the challenge, but could some of the noise have been placed to artificially whitten the test data?
@rowancheung@TomBlaidd Begs the question, if AI is so powerful it is going to usher in a golden-age for humanity, why do we need to effectively use them?
If AI was actually to have this effect, it seems that they are the ones that should be learning how to interact with us, not the other way around.
@bitterwaterblue When I see something like this, I always check the QOZ database. And of course, there's also a nice fat tax exemption for anyone creating a business all over this land. It's something I've noticed happening in Utah as well.
@dgilman@_ruby I don't think it's too unreasonable as evidenced by the maintainer's response to the PR. It's a complex project, and a simple script that dumps a bunch of deps on your system isn't that elegant.
I suspect they had multiple vectors under dev, in case some met walls like this.
@pickover Take a projection along the cone side, of the green radius onto the blue radius giving two segments of 8 on 12. Scaling these segments down to the size of the green radius gives segments of 4.8 on 7.2, the bottom segment matching the pink circle's radius.
@jody_lecompte Back in the days of IRC, you learned really quickly how to be multi-modal social. Growing up with that interface being a primary social channel gives you a proclivity for it.
I think I'm literally more socialized via whatever part of my brain handles text interaction.
