@glennbeck so as long as the meat grinder isn't endless, and the president has put some thought into it, its valid reason to join the military? really? smh @glennbeck there hasn't been a conflict in the last 60 years that has been worth my sons life. this war is no different.
@EthanBenard@bertkreischer dude I photographed Burt's show last month, and I was surprised how tall he is. Seeing you next to him, makes him look short! Wasn't he such a kind and down to earth guy?! (also funny as hell)
@mattvanswol@mattvanswol father of 3 in high school here. I tell my kids to focus on developing things they are passionate about while they are young. Too many people these days chase what they think is going to pay off, rather than whats going to fulfill. Passion = Purpose = payoff
@StephenKing Thank you for your correction.
People, he acknowledged his mistake, apologized, and corrected it. No need to further rake him over the coals for it. Doing so further divides us.
@stephenking made it right. forgive and move on.
Remember when we used to own things??
Your software came in a CD, you didn’t rent an uber you had a car, your books were in your hands, your photos printed…
Now you don’t own, you rent. Subscribe, access.
they call it the sharing economy… but come on… you can’t pay you have to give it back.
You’re just another rental revenue stream for the people who own… everything.
We’ve become the product, even giving away our ideas and creativity to social platforms for pennies on the dollar.
You say something they don’t like, your account is gone, you break the rules, they unbank you, unplatform you, and erase you like a pariah with a bad social credit score.
The sharing economy has become the control economy, the tracking economy, the oversight economy.
So how do we take it back. You own things. We’re in an ownership race whether we like it or not. Get equity, buy once, don’t rent, hold things on your tech not theirs. Take back control… because you’re no ones child… you’re an adult thank you very much. Rant over for today.
