@glgoodwin22@Vivek4real_ 5. Liquidity. In order to serve as a medium of exchange, it needs to be readily accepted and able to be converted. While not perfect, bitcoin is probably the mostly widely accepted crypto, and that is another thing that can't be duplicated very easily. Network Effect/Adoption
@glgoodwin22@Vivek4real_ 4. In the same way that the wampum became less valuable, if a currency were to become less valuable, people would stop accepting it, and its demand would drop, resulting in price drops. So, if someone could have done this, they would have.
@glgoodwin22@Vivek4real_ 3. Lastly, if i were to tell you that i had started a bank, and i would like to pay you using a check written from my bank, would you accept it? I could say my bank has identical properties to other banks, but track record and trust can't be duplicated, so other chains lack this.
@glgoodwin22@Vivek4real_ 2. While many coins can be created, they would not be equal or identical. In your question, you said "with identical properties". One property of bitcoin is that its chain has 45 quadrillion computer operations per second...can some other chain duplicate that? None have so far.
@glgoodwin22@Vivek4real_ 1. This has happened many times. The market decides how much value to put into each coin, which is reflected by their price. So similar to all other currencies, its ultimate value is decided by the market, and other coins haven't been as valuable for as long.
@Damien584@ijustine They used the same equipment on their last event...don't get what your point is...every professional production has lighting and crew and sound and editing. If they had sad "Shot on Alexa" would you have felt the same need to say "but they used equipment too!"
@theukrainianguy@ijustine I guess that is why they didn't hire you to produce the event? Every production needs proper lighting and sound recording, the camera being used doesn't like negate the need for all the other stuff.
@LipfyIRL@MKBHD The same 70k (I think you are super low on that estimate, I don't think 70k covers the 4 Arri SkyPanels) that they used on every other production they had. What's your point? "Shot on Alexa" plus 70k in other shit. How is it any different?
@Sammy_Swagner @MKBHD I thought that "Shot on iPhone" meant they used an iPhone to capture the video? Is that not its meaning? I think anyone can replicate it, I don't think you need special licenses to rent equipment. Why you would want to replicate an apple event, while not being apple I don't know
@Blackmagic_News@Blackmagic_News why did you remove ProRes 4444 from the app? Loving the app, best option by far, but just curious why you removed that, it wasn't listed in the release notes...
@TeamYouTube But you saw the comments...which guideline would that be violating? How is mentioning Apple Log and where to download their documentation breaching any of the community guidelines?
@TeamYouTube Issue with a moderation decision. In discussions about the new iPhone, when someone has a question about where to find the official Apple tools, suggestions to go to https://t.co/hVvw8Xs133 are getting flagged as scam or deceptive? Why is that?
@TeamYouTube The creator of the video asked for this link, as it is not super easy to find that information, and I only managed to find it by scouring some forums. YouTube then deleted that information. Is pointing people to @Apple's tools to work with @Apple's products a scam?
@TeamYouTube@TeamYouTube How is linking to this, deceptive or a scam? Especially in a video about Apple Log, when people are talking about Apple Log, how to transform it into Rec709, etc.
Please explain this insane policy.
@TeamYouTube Your automated content moderation is insane, if people are discussing Apple Log (a new feature of the new iPhone), directing them to @Apple's website to download the official LUT and whitepaper from Apple is not deceptive or a scam...
