Happy Thanksgiving! :)

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for my friends who have guided me through my year. It was tough but with them I was able to persevere through it.

Today I also wanted to think about the people of Gaza and Sudan who live in fear and pain, as well as the people of Congo. Nobody should have to feel the pain these humans are currently feeling yet we have high-ranking officials who are ignorant to their continued pain.

I think about the families who won't be able to celebrate together due to loved ones being wrongfully stripped away from them by ICE. I pray for their safe return into the arms of their family.

In addition, I will be thinking about those who aren't fortunate enough to be able to host a large Thanksgiving meal this year. If you're able to, please donate to local food drives and clothing drives. Winter is here and those who the system is failing deserve good food and clothing as well.

I keep everyone in my heart this holiday season and wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving.

More game developers are backing Steam’s AI disclosure policy, saying players deserve to know when generative AI has been used in a game.

In interviews with GamesRadar, many indie developers said Valve’s requirement to disclose AI-generated content is the right move because it gives players transparency and helps them make informed decisions.

Erenshor creator Brian “Burgee” said, “Gamers have a right to know how their games are made, and a right to choose what they’re supporting.”

A new report claims PlayStation could be using social media bots to defend its decision to stop making physical game discs.

According to Moore’s Law Is Dead, AI was used to analyze accounts posting in support of PlayStation’s digital-only future.

The report says many of those accounts looked suspicious, with recent creation dates, AI-generated profile pictures, and very similar posting patterns.

Former PlayStation boss says he doesn’t want to see Xbox fall behind, even after years of competing with Microsoft.

Looking back at the PS3 and Xbox 360 era, Layden said the rivalry between PlayStation and Xbox made the whole industry better.

“Everybody had team blue or team green, whichever it was, that they were supporting. And it was so vibrant that it elevated the entire gaming industry,”

Layden also warned that having “one dominant player” isn’t good for gaming because there’s less pressure to innovate. That’s why he’d like to see Xbox “get some of its mojo back.”
