A 5th grader I’m tutoring came up with an initiative where she bakes on Fri to have a bake sale on Sat for a Black Lives Matter organization. She sends out a mass email on Fri and has developed a website to market it too. Yay for kids being awesome and education #virtuallearning
As a meat scientist, this type of fear-based marketing and labeling (from both sides) is so upsetting to see and is incredibly misleading to consumers.
The average person will look at a list like this and automatically assume the product is unhealthy.
Let me break it down.
