Almost two years ago, I went to Raising Cane's with some friends after my ring dunk, took this picture, and made the joke that I dunked in Cane's sauce.
Today, I was offered and accepted a position with Raising Cane's working in Quality out of their corporate office!
Today we remember our fallen Aggies on the 26th anniversary of the Bonfire collapse.
After one student left his Aggie Ring and a note to the 12 students who died in the 1999 stack collapse, others followed suit, leading to a memorable display.
In his note, Jeff Whiting wrote: “To our fallen Aggies. I want you all to wear my Ring today since you who have passed away will never get to experience the joy and happiness I was fortunate enough to feel. I want you all to have my Ring for a while. You will remain in our hearts forever.”
Here. Always.
