Ukraine is writing the manual every military on earth will read for the next twenty years.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Ukraine has done something no army has done before. A naval drone carried a combat robot to an occupied shoreline on the Kinburn Spit and put it on the beach. The machine – armed with a machine gun – went to work against russian positions, run remotely by operators of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade. No one had to swim to that beach. No one had to die on it.

Ground robots are not new. Naval drones are not new. What is new is the chain: an unmanned boat delivering an armed unmanned vehicle onto a defended shore and conducting an assault, with human beings nowhere near the fire.

The Kinburn Spit is a sandbar. No cover, no easy resupply. The kind of place where a landing means paying in blood before you have accomplished anything at all. And Ukraine’s scarcest resource has never been courage or ammunition. It has been people.

That is the point. Russia’s whole theory of victory rests on one arithmetic – that it can spend lives faster than Ukraine can. Every technology that substitutes machines for men attacks that assumption directly. The drone did it in the air. The naval drone did it at sea. Now it has come ashore.

Innovation under pressure is not a luxury. It is the only thing a smaller nation has. Ukraine built this because it had neither resources nor time – and necessity is the most honest engineer there is.
Everyone will copy it. Ukraine is not only fighting a war. It is writing the manual every military on earth will read for the next twenty years.

ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family.

According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college.

It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.

His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.

DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.

We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.

Everyone should be outraged.

Donald Trump said Republicans should “take over the voting.” Today, he took another step toward doing exactly that.

Firing every remaining member of the bipartisan Election Assistance Commission months before the midterms is a brazen attempt to seize control of our elections before a single vote is cast. He is gutting the independent agency that certifies voting systems and helps election officials run secure elections.

Because Ukraine doesn’t have many patriots left, Russia is attacking harder against civilian targets, but likewise Russia is low on air defense so Ukraine is able to crush their gas supplies. But Russia can’t stop it, only increase their attacks to try to get Ukraine to cry “uncle” and Ukraine has to increase their attacks to collapse the Russian economy since it’s harder to defend themselves. The best thing we can do is give Ukraine the patriots they need right now to tilt this in their favor more.
