And this is not unique in Kenya Broken public healthcare system as Doctors in public hospitals with few ICU beds or even non existent in others. .we have seen the desperate look in the eyes of relatives when they can't raise a deposit of almost 200k to get a private ICU😢
Our corrupt government killed #DrStephenMogusu! He worked five months without a salary and without PPEs. Kenyans lost Sh2.3 billion to Covid-19 millionaires while doctors worked without pay or protective gear. The same people telling us that BBI will make our life better? How?
The last time I got my payslip, at least @MOH_Kenya got the spelling of extraneous correctly...one of the few things done correctly in Afya House. This River Road concoction can only excite the half clever. #RipDrMogusu
Doctors, the government has unleashed their bloggers on you. Expect to be maligned and to be called all manner of names. We live in a country where professionals are despised and attacked for demanding better. Don’t give up the fight,it’s your right to demand better working terms.
Very "saddened" indeed that you denied him salary for 5 months never insured him yet sent him to COVID frontline....really??.Rest in peace Dr. Stephen Mogusu
We are saddened by the loss of Dr Stephen Mogusu, a brilliant and selfless medic who was dedicated to deliver critical care and support to our country during this COVID-19 crisis.
@WilliamsRuto Very sad that it takes death for you to know? Heroes? Without pay? Public Health care system in https://t.co/1SFIeusTZi have been in leadership for 8 years what have you done?
At 28 Dr. Stephen Mogusu succumbs to #COVID19

2.Doc didn't have adequate PPEs
3.Until his demise he hadn't received 5 months salary
4. No Med insurance
4.He leaves behind a wife and a 5 month old child

The interns in Makueni are complaining of the same thing . When I issued a complaint , the CS health confirmed their pay was on the way. It is surprising that Council of Governors has not said anything on this modern slavery of health workers.
Devastating to announce the demise of 28 yr old Dr. Stephen Mogusu who has succumbed to COVID-19 complications At the time of his death he had not received his salary for 5 months, had no insurance & his young family left with no compensation.Too steep a price for Patriotism.
The Government has failed its very own.
Being a doctor under the Jubilee Government should be listed in the 1000 days to die.
A colleague went to school for 6 years after passing their KCSE.
The 6 year struggle ends and alas you are Dr naniii.
@NationBreaking Very shameful...Healthcare workers here struggling to make ends met...many jobless, others on contract by this goverment basis without payment..in counties many being mistreated without payments..Then you have the audacity to say this... who bewitched this country..NKT!
@RailaOdinga You don't care about health workers or improving healthcare which is in shambles in the midst of a pandemic apparently not coved by NHIF.HSC has been conviniently deleted. All these is now politics & waste of taxpayers loans..nothing for mwananchi.
