Half the agencies in DC have a role on Education Hill. Are any of them going to come fix this?

DCPS has 4 schools at Education Hill - a known traffic nightmare on a good day. This am, our bussed students arrived to our swing space at 11:30 am. Families sat on 26th Street for 2 HOURS.

We need more plowing ASAP!

@ChmnMendelson We also need more Traffic Control Officers at Benning and 26th to help direct the mess of families trying to get their children to these 4 schools at Education Hill.

All of this is unsafe for our children, many who are walking in the streets to get around the gridlock.

Our students can't unload off the buses at their DCPS swing space. Roads that should be 2 lanes are only plowed by DPW for 1. Sidewalks that our children walk past D.C. Housing Authority properties have not been shoveled.

The D.C. Camp Fair is coming on Saturday, Jan. 31, giving families citywide a free and fun opportunity to come learn about dozens of summer camp options in one place!
