@husker_powers Buy week preparation. Husker track record has not been good coming out of buy weeks. Indiana in 2024 and Penn State in 2025. What are you going to do differently to ensure that the Huskers are ready to play winning football against Washington.
I want to see a pissed off team in two weeks that takes down Washington. But Rhule has a track record of not getting anything out of a buy week. One other thing, kickoff returns need to go back to calling a fair catch and starting at the 25. Hunter has done nothing positive on his returns … why is he still back there?
It’s ridiculous how we waste timeouts. And the results after the timeouts have been abysmal. Call a timeout and the opponent gets a first down on the next play. Interesting that Oregon used its three timeouts in the last minute of the game. If we hadn’t burned all of our timeouts, perhaps a timeout after the last pass would have given the Huskers one more chance.
@TheWildUte I’m not buying your math. How much does the SEC earn if they have 5,6 or 7 teams in the playoffs vs 3or 4 today? One must review Total revenue, not just one number.
In the 10 years of the four- team playoff, there were 15 teams that made it to the playoffs. Fifteen divided by four is 3.75. That same result would project to 90 teams in a 24 team playoff. IMO, such a result would create hope that, “my team has a chance to make the playoffs”.
