My cousin, Senator @edwinsifuna, congratulations are in order on the launch of your political party today. Democracy must prevail. To those who thought they could stop an idea whose time had come, we are sorry. Your time is up!
The launch of your political vehicle, The Equitable Party, marks the real beginning of your journey to national leadership.
I encourage you to move with speed to market your new party and identify strong aspirants in your stronghold to get rid of Ruto sycophants and surrogates who have betrayed the electorate and the people of Kenya and our great nation.
I am very encouraged that the journey to form the 6th Administration is becoming more defined, as we need a majority of Members of Parliament in the two Houses to prosecute our legislative agenda and save our nation from collapse under this kleptomanic regime so senseless.
I appeal to all those who support the candidature of Senator Edwin Sifuna to join his new party and back aspirants for the various positions under the party. Strong political parties are essential for the growth of our democracy as a country.
There will be no escape route for this regime! It will be WANTAM and Round ONE!
Things are boiling very nicely!
Led by our party leader and the incoming President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E Edwin Sifuna, today we are unveiling our vehicle, The Equitable Party (TEP), which we shall soon rebrand to our name, Linda Mwananchi Movement.
To register, dial *509#. When selecting our party, dial our code, 100.
#ChamaYaSifuna
My speech during the unveiling of The Equitable Party (TEP), soon to become Linda Mwananchi Movement (LMM), in which I drew inspiration from Baba Raila Odinga and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
In Edwin Sifuna we have a Party Leader, and a Presidential Candidate who will lead us to the promised land!
Kirinyaga: joined Hon. Martha Karua and family at Mugumo Primary during the burial service of her late father, Mwalimu Jackson Karua Njarubiu.
Mwalimu was a dedicated teacher, a firm patriarch and a servant of the community who raised leaders. His legacy lives on.
Pole sana to Hon. Martha Karua and the entire family. May Mzee rest in eternal peace.
''Sisi hatutaki mambo ya boardroom meetings. Wakenya wanajua nani anafaa kuwa Presidential Candidate na Runningmate. Nikipewa hii Bendera Kasongo ataenda Nyumbani,'' Sifuna tells United Opposition Leaders
They cannot debate us reasonably because its hard defending incompetence!
They cannot talk to us about any development because they have done nothing but rob Kenyans of their own country!
They can only organise goons and hurl insults but they forget we are the generation that takes insults and make powerful inpactful words out of them!
We have nothing to lose anymore and everything to gain by fighting for this country!
@ORPPKenya
We want our name! Or we will occupy your offices na hatutawashow tena!
Sisi Ndio Sifuna
Article 35 (1) Every citizen has the right of access to information held by the State.
Article 35 (3): The State SHALL publish and publicise any important information affecting the nation.
Disclosure of information is a Constitutional imperative not something left to the whims of one person. The era of secretive deals negotiated in the dark will end when we kick this current regime out and return our country back to the rule of Law.

Today, we met as the leadership of Linda Mwananchi and resolved to move forward together, united by a common purpose of answering the call of Kenyans seeking better governance and rescuing our country from the grave failures of the current administration.
We further resolved that:
1. H.E Edwin Watenya Sifuna is our leader and Presidential Candidate.
2. In early October, H.E. Edwin Watenya Sifuna will lead the unveiling of the party on whose ticket he will run.
3. We will seek to build a coalition with like-minded parties that share our commitment to the people of Kenya.
We remain united and focused on the work ahead.

Take this to the bank. The 2027 Presidential race will be exactly like the 1997 election. There will be nothing like opposition unity. The following will all be on the ballot. With 318 days left, nothing will change. Hii imeenda.
People are launching parties and renaming others, but everyone is asking "na wapi ya Sifuna?"
The el nino is coming!
The Registrar of Political Parties, his office and their masters, are still stuck in 1981, when Jaramogi Oginga Odinga and George Anyona tried to register a new political party. These fools still think you can save a regime by blocking the registration of popular movements.
But Kenya's multiparty history shows that the party leader is the magnet that sustains it. Ford Kenya practically died with Jaramogi (the current one is smaller than a market-day basket at Lwakhakha market, fit only for Wetangula's personal shopping). Ford Asili died with Matiba. DP was dead the moment Kibaki abandoned it.
Similarly, Raila moved parties, yet the next one he moved to became the national focus. When the LDP faction of NARC lamented in 2003 that Raila had been made Minister for Roads instead of the agreed Prime Minister, John Michuki cheekily reminded them that you could make Raila the Minister for Shoes, and that would become the most visible ministry in the land.
Everyone who joined ODM in the last 20 years was joining Raila, not the party. It could have been called Mbuta Development Party or Sufuria Wearers Movement (SWARM) and it have attracted similar large numbers. It is the leader, his ideals and the hope he represents for the masses, that makes up a political party. Those who join the party actually follow him, not the name of the party.
The Registrar doesn't know it, but if Sifuna and his team attempted to register a name to rhyme with the name of the movement he created in just a few months, that desire does not negate the overall philosophy where Sifuna's name and his ideals are the magnet of the new movement. If what he launches next week is called Nimechoka Party of Kenya, his followers will adjust their tongues from "Linda Mwananchi" and start chanting "Nimechokaaaa, Wantam!" The name of a party here is not bigger than the profile of its leader, thank you very much!
Oh, and @paulinenjoroge and @abbiezuena are absolutely right: the presidential negotiating table can only have presidential candidates, so that you avoid the spectacle of one-legged parties and their hapless owners coming to extract non-existent concessions. All concessions made will be presidential, and the evolution of multiparty democracy must include our refusal to entertain parties with three followers and egos the size of Kimwarer Dam from walking in and demanding a percentage of government, then delivering three and a half votes.
That season passed.
