@StanChartIN i have been told that your bank is only available for upper class. Is it so?? A normal Indian citizen doing reasonable business is not allowed to open a current account because the minimum amount to open an account with your bank is 20-50 lakh. Pls confirm.

@StanChartIN After wasting 1.5 months and after submitting all the documents with the bank, suddenly thr bank says the account cant be opened giving some silly excuses. The only reason is am not willing to pay as per their wishes.

@StanChartIN @FinMinIndia @RBI @StanChartIN this happens only here. Even after 6 days of complain, no concrete reply from the concerned authorities of the bank. Just useless assurances being given to buy time. Bank asked for minimum 20 lakhs to open a current account for a lady proprietor.

@StanChartIN I have contacted your office in kolkata and the team says if someone is not capable of giving 20 lakh upfront deposit for opening a current account then there are other banks for them. I do have entire telephone conversation recording as well. Pls guide
