Love that you’re quite vocal on the issue of trains. I hope to see the same level of energy dissipated in tackling the killings by herdsmen in Southern Kaduna and the recurrent harassment of the Shiites.
Actual people, you know. https://t.co/7QgcUqQ8Dq
It's a good year when I succeed in living my teenage dream of making a decent livelihood through writing prose (without selling my critic's soul). So 2017 has been great. Here's a thread of some of my pieces that might reward a first reading or a re-reading:
Beyond the tragedy of appointing dead people into Boards, a bigger problem is that Nigeria has & keeps funding too many Government Agencies/Parastatals most of which are irrelevant & whose duties aren't clearly defined. Can we prune, merge and save our Nation some Resources?
When GEJ was President and Fuel was available at N87, Rice at N7,500, Dollar @ N198 etc...he went round to Markets & BRT Buses to campaign against GEJ.
Today he is VP, we are buying Fuel at over N200/L, while he is at home wearing Christmas cap and shinning teeth with his wife.
Your MCM is trying to defend the fact that #OccupyNigeria was not politically motivated but has gone deaf and dumb at the plight of Nigerians caused by #fuelscarcity There was a country
What are your memories of #OccupyNigeria?
Happened around 5 years ago, under somewhat similar circumstances.
How can people who were unwilling to pay N120/l be so willing to meekly endure long queues for N250/l?
They say it is "trust in Buhari", but "trust" in what exactly?
If #OccupyNigeria wasn't politically motivated, how come its most vocal proponents and organizers have kept remarkably silent in the face of pump price increases and a recession (in addition to almost 3 years of steady economic hardship)?
I find the arrest of Innocent Chukwuma truly troubling and demoralizing for Nigeria’s business environment. @innosonmotors is the only Nigerian car manufacturer. The job of government should be to do everything in its power, within the law, to promote them and build their morale.
