I wish less people glorified accomplishing things before 30. More exploring. More starting over at 40. More finding your true passion at 50. More moving across the country at 60. People get complacent because they think life has a time limit.
It doesn't.
Celebrate lifelong evolution.

To every human being who was ever charged with a felonyā¦and went to trial and got convicted on circumstantial evidence in 90 days or less, with only an overworked and burnt out public defender there to help youā¦I want to acknowledge I understand how angry you must be, watching a former President who is charged with 91 crimesā¦.out running around the country doing rallies and interviewsā¦.threatening witnesses while he does.
I have no words that can ever adequately extinguish the resentment and bitterness you must feel.
Howard Stern:
"If āwokeā means I canāt get behind Trump... or that I support people who want to be transgender or Iām for the vaccine, dude call me āwokeā as you fucking want.ā
I donāt believe his stance on abortion, for example.
The Donald I know, I think he probably needed to get a few people abortions. I donāt know what heās doing.
The stance on abortion, that women donāt have a right to choose? You donāt have to get an abortion.
I remember the days with women in the back alley with coat hangers. You know who used to be able to get abortions? Rich people.ā
It doesn't make you a bad friend to not be able to support someone stuck in a dysfunctional cycle.
If you see their name on your phone or in your calendar and feel dread...
It's time to self reflect:
Here is Robert De Niroās full statement about how Donald Trump should NEVER be president again:
āIāve spent a lot of time studying bad men.Ā Iāve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty.
Yet thereās something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I donāt see a bad man. Truly.
I see an evil one.
Over the years, Iāve met gangsters here and there. This guy tries to be one, but he canāt quite pull it off. Thereās such a thing as āhonor among thieves.ā Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong.Ā
Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story ā but ā they have a moral code, however warped.
Donald Trump does not. Heās a wannabe tough guy with no morals or ethics. No sense of right or wrong. No regard forĀ anyoneĀ but himself ā not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his āfriends.ā He has contempt for all of them.
We New Yorkers got to know him over the years that he poisoned the atmosphere and littered our city with monuments to his ego.Ā We knew first hand that this was someone who should never be considered for leadership.Ā We tried to warn the world in 2016.
The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination.Ā Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world.
We lived with Donald TrumpāsĀ bombastic behaviorĀ every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up inĀ body bags.
The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior.Ā That was the consequence of New Yorkās warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse.
Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we canāt let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously.
So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke ā right here in the beating heart of New York ā to the rest of America:
This is our last chance.
Democracy wonāt survive the return of a wannabe dictator.
And it wonāt overcome evil if we are divided.
So what do we do about it?Ā I know Iām preaching to the choir here.Ā What weāre doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow ā take it outside these walls. Ā We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House.Ā
Theyāre not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice.Ā Our future doesnāt just depend on us. It depends on them.
Letās reach out to Trumpās followers with respect.Ā Letās not talk about ādemocracy.āĀ āDemocracyā may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, theyāve already turned their backs on it.Ā
Letās talk about right and wrong.Ā Letās talk about humanity.Ā
Letās talk about kindness.Ā Security for our world.Ā
Safety for our families.Ā
Decency.Ā
Letās welcome them back.Ā
We wonāt get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this āStop Trump Summit.ā
Pleased to report that the US Supreme Court has denied Derek Chauvinās appeal after his conviction for the murder of George Floyd. It was the Privilege of a lifetime to work with the incredible @keithellison and the dream team he put together, and my team of 7 incredible @HoganLovells associates, over the last three years.
A man of so much compassion, empathy, leadership, & who has done so much to make so many lives better after 4 disastrous years of Donald Trump. Wishing you a very happy 81st birthday, President Biden! Thank you for all youāve doneā& continue to do.
Moore v. US is a huge deal.
If SCOTUS strikes down the repatriation tax, massive corporations will get billions in tax giveaways.
Hereās the kicker: Justice John Roberts and Samuel Alito together hold stock in companies who would get over $30 billion in tax breaks.
Unreal.
Dale Schroeder was a simple, humble man from Iowa, who ended up changing the lives of 33 people forever. Schroeder worked as a carpenter at the same company for 67 years. He grew up poor and had no wife or children of his own.
His friend Steve Nielsen described Schroeder as a "blue collar, lunch pail kind of guy."
"Went to work every day. Worked really hard. Was frugal. Like a lot of Iowans," Nielsen told CBS Des Moines affiliate KCCI-TV.
When he died in 2005, no one could have guessed how rich Schroeder really was. "He had church jeans and work jeans," Nielsen said.
Schroeder had saved up a fortune over the years. He had no living descendants, so before he died, he went to his lawyer with a plan for his money.
"He said, 'I never got the opportunity to go to college. So, I'd like to help kids go to college,'" Nielsen said. Not only did Schroeder have enough money to send a few kids to college, he had enough saved to send dozens.
Dale sent 33 kids to college.
Don't look away. Ohio Republicans now want to defy the outcome of the abortion referendum by stripping Courts of their power to regulate the law. Ohio Republicans want to go against what their own voters did. This deserves more attention. This is how democracies die. Be alarmed.
American Symphony, a film from @HGMedia, is directed by the talented Matthew Heineman and follows the journey of @JonBatiste and @SuleikaJaouad. Remember when Taylor Swift registered 35K+ voters a couple months ago? Well, now, after Charlie Kirk attacked Taylor Swift for her political power on TikTok, her fans say they will make election-related bracelets ahead of 2024. Don't mess with Swifties. They will save democracy.
After James Comer subpoenaed President Biden for loaning money to his brother, it was revealed COMER loaned his own brother $200,000.
Today Rep. Jared Moscowitz subpoenaed James Comer.
Fantastic. Just donāt forget about the $2 billion Jared got from the Saudis!
